The World’s Largest Floating Book Fair “Doulos Hope” Arrives at Port Klang!

A bookstore on a ship—an exciting and unique concept, but not something you get to experience every day. This holiday season, the world-famous floating book fair, Doulos Hope, returns to Port Klang. Step aboard the former cruise liner and browse over 2,000 titles spanning literature, lifestyle, and children’s books, all while enjoying reading on the waves.

Event Dates & Location

  • Dates: December 11, 2025 – January 4, 2026
  • Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu, Sun 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Fri, Sat 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM (last entry 8:00 PM)
  • Closed: Wednesdays, December 25, January 1
  • Location: Port Klang Cruise Terminal The ship measures approximately 85 meters in length and 14 meters in width. It carries over 2,000 titles and around 300,000 copies, ranging from picture books and educational texts to cookbooks, self-development books, and novels from international authors.

Ticket Information

  • Admission: RM2 per person (children under 12 and seniors 65+ free)
  • Booking: Recommended via the official website (on-site payment in cash only)
