My remark:

Moonbar is located on the top floor of the Ames Hotel. The Ames Hotel is situated in Ayer Keroh, the first area of Malacca you enter when traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca. It takes about 20–30 minutes to reach the popular tourist spot, Jonker Street. I will be writing a blog post about the Ames Hotel soon, so stay tuned! Ayer Keroh is home to several attractions, including the Malacca International Trade Centre, Malacca Botanical Garden, Malacca Bird Park, Malacca Crocodile Farm, Malacca Zoo, and Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park. This area has been recently well-developed and is becoming a notable tourist destination.

This MOONBAR has recently become a popular hangout spot for young people in Malacca, thanks to its Instagram-worthy vibes. When we visited, we even saw a couple celebrating a birthday there. While the nighttime atmosphere under the moonlight is absolutely stunning, the period just before sunset—around 5 to 6 PM—is equally beautiful, with the combination of colorful cushions and the setting sun creating a picturesque scene. As night falls, the area transforms into a completely different landscape.

The menu is packed with variety, offering everything from pasta, pizza, and steak to desserts, wine, and a wide selection of cocktails and spirits. We decided to try the Tom Yum cocktail! It was seriously spicy! It was my first time having such a fiery cocktail, and it was a fun experience! There’s both an outdoor open area and indoor seating, so you can easily move inside if it starts raining. The interior is modern, and they even have a Cigar Lounge & Private Rooms!

Where did you get that round, moon-shaped light?! I forgot to ask!
