The Haven Resort Hotel in IPOH [Malaysia Property]
Condominium with a lake view, nestled in a rock mountain formed 200 million years ago. The infinity pool amidst Ipoh’s stunning natural scenery is simply the best!
I’m Ayaka, a Japanese wife who just refreshed myself at a pool with absolutely stunning views.
This is a resort condominium nestled in the heart of Ipoh’s natural beauty. Ipoh is a popular tourist destination, located about a three-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur.

The pool at this resort condominium is truly spectacular, featuring a stunning collaboration between a limestone karst mountain and lake that are over 200 million years old, and an infinity pool. I’m currently at the pool, with the lake stretching out just beyond it. Soaking in the fresh air while gazing at the ancient rock formations from the infinity pool is simply the best and most luxurious experience!
Staying here and indulging in Ipoh’s famous bean sprout chicken will make your trip to Ipoh absolutely unforgettable.
Great for families, friends, or couples! A resort condominium where you can connect with nature.
I’m so excited!!! Oh yeahhhhh(≧◇≦)

The pool’s walls are designed with a skeleton-like structure, and the staff members work hard to clean them every morning~

The area around the lake is beautifully landscaped and serves as a lovely walking trail. Enjoy some plant spotting as you stroll! Be sure to take strong precautions against mosquitoes.

The foliage of tropical plants is truly massive. It’s almost like you could take shelter from the rain under them (lol)! It makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Totoro from a Studio Ghibli film!

The living room is spacious! Enjoy a long stay, relax like you’re at a hotel, explore Ipoh, and reset your mind and body in the Malaysian countryside.

The master bedroom, featuring two beds, comes with an en-suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub! (The photo was taken after a special turndown service.)
The bathroom features a glass design, making it a great choice for newlyweds! You can also hold your wedding ceremony on the premises. A wedding amidst such stunning natural scenery is both innovative and deeply dreamy.

This is the bathroom of a special room with very limited availability. It is not typically offered for general sale. Spacious and boasting a luxurious lake view!

The pool area features a main pool, a kids’ pool with a water slide, and—surprise!—a heated pool. That’s pretty rare in Malaysia! The jacuzzi-equipped chairs are pure bliss~! So relaxing ( ˘•ω•˘ )

Let’s go! Refresh your mind while exercising and taking in the breathtaking natural scenery—lakes, mountains, and lush greenery!
In addition to the gym, there are indoor badminton courts, tennis courts, spa facilities, and a play area for young children, so sports enthusiasts should make the most of these amenities!

Breakfast is a buffet that everyone loves! You can choose from a variety of local dishes, Western food, and egg preparations—the wide selection is absolutely delightful. Enjoying breakfast on the outdoor terrace while gazing at the lake is a truly elegant and relaxing experience!
As a foodie, I dug into a hearty breakfast right from the start! (^_-)-☆

Surrounding Area
Ipoh is quickly becoming a tourist hotspot, but what are the must-see attractions? Follow me lah!
About a 5-minute drive from the resort condominium here is Sunway Lost World of Tambun (Theme Park, Hotel and Spa). You’ll also find shops like Starbucks and McDonald’s on the same street.
It’s about a 20-minute drive to “Tong Sui Kai,” a hawker center. Leave your late-night cravings to us! They’re famous for their fruit shaved ice. Address: Tong Sui Kai, Jln Sultan Ekram, Taman Jubilee, 30300 Ipoh, Perak.
It’s also about a 20-minute drive to the “Gerbang Malam - Night Market,” where you can experience a local (primarily Malay) night market. During the day and into the evening, the area transforms into a bustling row of regular shop lots, packed with delicious restaurants and Ipoh souvenir shops! You can even enjoy Ipoh’s signature bean sprout chicken dish here!
Address: Gerbang Malam - Night Market, Jalan Dato Tahwil Azar, Taman Jubilee, 30300 Ipoh, Perak.
- Recently, Gunung Lang Recreational Park has been gaining popularity among locals too. I highly recommend it! Hop on a boat (only RM3—such a steal!!!) and enjoy the stunning collaboration view of the beautiful lake and rocky hills. Once you cross the lake, you’ll find a lovely park where you can interact with the animals. (There aren’t many, but there are ostriches.)
Address: Gunung Lang Recreational Park, Jalan Damai, 30100 Ipoh, Perak,
- Another highly recommended spot is Kellie’s Castle, a tourist attraction located about 30 minutes by car. Upon arriving at this castle, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to the Angkor Wat ruins in Cambodia for a moment.
Address: Kellie’s Castle, 31000 Batu Gajah, Perak,
- Concubine Lane (二奶巷, which means “Second Wife Street” in Chinese) and the cave temples on Gunung Lang are also major attractions. Don’t miss Ipoh’s white coffee and egg pudding at the Tianjin Tea Room (THEAN CHUN) and Kong Heng Tea Room (IPOH KONG HENG), both located right in front of Concubine Lane!
