Tenby International School (Tropicana Aman Campus) – Malaysia International School Tour No. 37

Tropicana Aman

Tenby International School has a history of over 60 years and is also popular among local families. In Malaysia, it operates six campuses located in Ipoh, Penang, Johor Bahru, Setia Eco Park, Setia Eco Hill, and Tropicana Aman, with a total student population of approximately 1,200 (subject to change).

The school is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) group, a global education organization. In addition to Tenby International School, other schools under the ISP group include Asia Pacific Schools and Straits International School.

The Tropicana Aman Campus is one of the three campuses located near Kuala Lumpur. All Tenby campuses are very spacious and are not surrounded by high-rise buildings, providing an open environment where children can enjoy a relaxed and enriching school life.

Tenby International School Tropicana Aman Campus is located in the Tropicana Aman area, about one hour southwest of central Kuala Lumpur. The campus boasts excellent facilities and is situated within a master-planned residential township developed by a major property developer.

The surrounding area mainly consists of landed houses, as well as small commercial areas known as shop lots, where clusters of local shops are located. The roads are wide, clean, and well maintained, making it a comfortable place to live. However, as the lifestyle here is largely local, owning a car is essential.

<Sports Field>

The school has a spacious, well-maintained field. Surrounded by lush greenery and free from high-rise buildings, it offers a refreshing sense of openness and a pleasant atmosphere.

<Swimming Pool>

The swimming pool is also spacious, and swimming under the open blue sky looks refreshing and enjoyable.

<Sports Halⅼ>

It is a large, clean sports hall with polished, gleaming floors.

It is fully air-conditioned.

<Multi-purpose Hall>

<Library>

<Cafeteria>

On this day, I had lunch here at the same time as the students. Everyone was happily chatting and enjoying their meal together.

With students from various nationalities, they can choose their favorite meal from several menu options.

<Classroom Block>

The classroom block features an open atrium in the center, with a playground below. Classrooms are arranged around it, creating a bright and welcoming environment where students can enjoy their school life.

The ceiling is covered with actual tent material, and there are various types of play equipment where children can have fun.

<Primary Classrooms>

The ground-floor classrooms also have balconies,

Above the balconies, there is a tent-style roof that provides shade from the sun and shelter from rain, while still allowing plenty of natural light to enter. It creates a wonderful environment for the students.

There is also sand in a contained case, which is kept clean for safety and hygiene.

<Ground-Floor Flooring>

There were road markings painted on the ground-floor floor, making it look like a road. My son would absolutely love it (lol).

There is also a large touch-screen TV and a whiteboard.

<Primary school hallway>

There are also chairs and desks in the hallway space—maybe it’s a place where students can study while feeling the breeze from outside.

Studying about animals.

While moving to the junior high school classroom, we noticed these wonderful objects hanging from the ceiling!! Without anything there, the space might feel plain and even a little scary for children, but with such lovely objects, it becomes exciting and fun!!

<Courtyard>

Solar panels are installed on the school roof. We were able to capture a beautiful photo of airplane contrails standing out against the blue sky!

I wonder if classes are held in such a wonderful place. It makes me excited! (≧▽≦)
