Sekeping Jugra (Old Klang Road) Kuala Lumpur [Staycation]

A Stylish Staycation (Unique Stay) in a Standalone House in Kuala Lumpur City

Hello!

While sorting through my photos, I stumbled upon a post I completely forgot to upload!!! It’s from 2016, but I’m sharing it now.

This hidden gem is nestled in a residential area along Old Klang Road, right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

This hidden gem was designed by Ng Sek San of SEKSAN DESIGN, the same Malaysian landscape architect who designed the previously featured Sekeping Tenggiri in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

It’s a detached house, with each room featuring its own shower and toilet. If you want some alone time, you can relax in your room; if you feel like chatting with others, you can hang out in the living room. It’s also great for hosting a lively house party or even staying overnight in the rooms with a big group! 😊

Hidden throughout are stylish spots that look beautiful from every angle. Subtly placed ornaments and plants add charm, and despite the simple design, there’s an irresistible allure that makes you want to explore the house even more.

The open-concept kitchen offers a spacious, airy feel (guests are responsible for providing their own ingredients). A long dining table fosters warm, uninterrupted family bonding, while the courtyard pool creates the illusion of being abroad. This stylish space radiates the joy of sharing moments with family and friends.

The perfect setup for family and friend gatherings: a well-stocked open kitchen, a long dining table that fosters warm, relaxed conversations, and a pool in the courtyard that makes you feel like you’re somewhere abroad. It’s no exaggeration to say this is a space that truly radiates the happiness of being together with loved ones.

The rooms and living room are “simple.” Beyond the “natural feel” and “retro vibe,” there’s also a playful artistic touch hidden in the ceiling-mounted doors.

TIPS:

• Especially for those living in Malaysia, why not consider a unique weekend getaway with your family or friends?

  • As this is a residential area, please refrain from making excessive noise at night to avoid disturbing the neighbors.

  • There are no walkable stations, so a car is essential.

・For those who have confirmed their stay, please make sure to stock up on food and other supplies beforehand.

  • No bathtub.

  • The facility is lush with greenery, so there are plenty of mosquitoes. Be sure to take proper insect repellent measures.
