In Malaysia, you’ll find garden-center-style shops near residential areas that sell plants and gardening supplies. While there’s an area called Sungai Buloh (Sungai Buloh) known for its concentration of these stores, this time I’m introducing a shop in the city that offers a surprisingly wide selection without needing to travel all the way to Sungai Buloh: Pudu Ria Florist (Pudu Ria Florist). If you’re mainly looking to buy plants, the garden-center shops might be a better fit, but Pudu Ria Florist stocks a variety of supplementary materials, making it quite convenient for me, especially since I occasionally host workshops.

My comment:

Here, you’ll find not only plants, but also a wide variety of supplementary supplies, including floral materials, papers, boxes, wrapping paper, ribbons, baskets, and glassware.

Additionally, the property features an on-site café where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner (possibly?), as well as afternoon tea sets. The menu is incredibly diverse, so be sure to check out the menu photos featured above!

I’ve visited before during the Lunar New Year period, and at that time, the shop was filled with festive decorations. They occasionally host workshops here, so if my schedule allows, I might join (or even host) one. Stay tuned!
