The Malaysian international school we visited this time is Peninsula International School Australia, located in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur. This school has well-equipped and clean facilities, including a playground, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a large hall, and a gym. Many Japanese students also attend this school.

Peninsula International School Australia offers **Australia’s Victorian Curriculum based **Early Years, Primary and Secondary education for students from age 4-18.

This curriculum is **delivered through partnerships with the prestigious Peninsula Grammar of Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia. **Peninsula Grammar provides academic support, course structure and support materials, along with training and mentoring programmes for teachers while they adhere to the highest standards of education associated with Peninsula Grammar’s long tradition of international curriculum academic excellence.

There is a large pool with 8 lanes, and it is very spacious. It was raining at the time of our visit.

There are three large screens and a hall that can accommodate a large number of people.

<EAL Class Room>

The desks are arranged in a way that allows everyone to participate in discussions. This type of arrangement is not found in Japanese schools.

I felt that the school is well-organized and clean, both in the hallways and in the classrooms.

<Digital Technology>

<Cafeteria>

The cafeteria doesn’t offer a wide variety of dishes, but it provides a basic selection including vegetables, meat, rice, and pasta.

<Nursery>

We were not able to tour the student dormitories. Although they are not shown in the photos, there are also apartments and shop lots on the same premises.

◎Early Years(Age 4 -5)

The Early Years are for children from ages of 4-5 years old. At Peninsula International School Australia, The Australian Victorian curriculum is famous for its holistic approach to learning. Social-emotional skills, environmental education and playful learning are all aspects of Australia’s famous education system.

◎Junior School (Age 6 -10)

The Foundation to Year 4 curriculum equips students with knowledge and skills that enable them to be lifelong learners. Students are taught to be well-informed and aware of what is going on around them so that they can play their part as citizens of the world and their communities. Our Middle School Faculty are deeply committed to ensuring that our students have an enjoyable school experience, characterised with experiential learning in abundance. In Years 5 to 8, our focus is on building a diverse range of abilities, ensuring students have a firm foundation in all subject disciplines.

◎Senior School (Age 15-18)

The Senior School comprises Years 9 to 12 where an academic programme supported by the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA) is implemented from the start of Year 9. Years 9 and 10 follow the Victoria Curriculum (VC ) programme while Year 11 and 12 follow the Victoria Certificate of Education (VCE) programme.
