PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur [Hotel in Malaysia]

Within walking distance of the bustling Bukit Bintang district in Kuala Lumpur.

Trendy Changkat (Changkat) bar street and the bustling Jalan Alor hawker centre are just steps away.

Hello! I’m Aya, a Japanese wife.

Autumn has arrived in Japan! It’s getting colder little by little, isn’t it? The fun year-end and New Year holidays are just around the corner, so let’s keep pushing forward. Right now, I’m in the thick of raising my kids in Malaysia. If I had to sum it up in one word: it’s fun, but I’m not getting enough sleep…

Now, let me introduce you to the PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur, located in the bustling Bukit Bintang district of Kuala Lumpur’s city center. Its location is incredibly convenient, with easy walking access to Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor, and Changkat. Whether you’re a traveler or someone living in Malaysia, this hotel is a great place to enjoy your vacation. Since it’s a serviced apartment-style hotel, it’s also highly recommended for long-stay guests. I’ve heard that the rooftop pool offers great views of the KL Tower, but please note that it’s currently under interior renovation and not accessible at the moment. From both the location and room quality, I believe this hotel offers excellent value for money! Let’s go!

■Facilities:

<Pool>

Swimming pool with lounge chairs surrounded by modern high-rise buildings in an urban setting.

The pool on Level 1. It’s a spacious pool where you can really get in a good swim! It’s the perfect size for me to tone up my postpartum body (lol). There’s also a sky pool on Level 31, but when I visited, it was under renovation and I couldn’t get in. What a shame. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Kuala Lumpur Tower from there.

That’s what it looks like during the day. The Kuala Lumpur Tower is right in front of us. I hope the construction wraps up soon!!

■ Room:

<Studio Suite>

Modern hotel suite interior with a bed, sofa, and fully equipped kitchenette area.

Here’s the room we stayed in this time. Since it was just my husband, his mother, our child, and me—four of us in total—we also requested an extra bed and a baby crib. Even with two beds added, the space didn’t feel cramped at all, and it was very comfortable. At 54 to 56 square meters, it was truly spacious, practical, and comfortable to stay in.

It also came with a spacious counter kitchen, which was incredibly handy for preparing baby milk in the middle of the night and dealing with lots of luggage. A dream kitchen, indeed~

It comes with an IH cooktop, so you can cook your own meals.

Modern bathroom featuring a white bathtub, beige tiles, and a glass shower screen with a chrome shower fixture.

It comes with a bathtub, and hot water is available, so I was able to relax by taking a leisurely soak.

However, be careful not to run the hot water for too long, as the temperature will gradually drop.

A Sony Dream Machine clock radio, a York air conditioner remote, a Samsung TV remote, and a Tomato wireless doorbell on a wooden table.

Digital clocks are convenient because you can easily check the time even in a dark room at night.

The remote control labeled “TOMATO.” This is the light remote. In Japan, when sleeping with a ceiling light, you’d typically use a remote to turn the light off, but here, most places rely on wall-mounted switches, which is quite inconvenient. Here, you can turn the lights on and off with the remote, which is super convenient! I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels across Malaysia, but this is the first time I’ve encountered a hotel with a light remote.
