[Hair salon reopens on Wednesday, June 10; morning market and night market reopen on Monday, June 15]

On Wednesday, June 10, hair salons and barbershops were permitted to resume operations, and by Monday, June 15, Oven Air’s morning markets, night markets, and bazaars could also reopen.

Eventually, you will need to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Hair Salons and Barbershops:

Every year, it contributes RM135 billion to Malaysia’s GDP, with 16,728 stores nationwide and a workforce of 74,500 people.

Regulations:

    • We are open for business, but services are limited to basic haircuts, shampooing, shaving, hair styling, manicures, and facial care.
    • Seniors aged 60 and above must book an appointment for a haircut, and no one else is permitted to accompany them.
    • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian. Additionally, children are required to wear protective gear, such as masks and disposable gowns. (What exactly is a disposable gown?)
    • Staff must adhere to the SOPs and are required to wear face shields, masks, disposable gloves, and disposable gowns.
    • Maintain a social distance of 2 meters between chairs.
    • Towels are not shared.
    • Measure body temperature, use disinfectant, and record customer information. Morning markets, night markets, and bazaars:

Regulations:

    • Visitors to vendors, morning markets, night markets, and bazaars are required to download the MySejahtera app.
    • Operators must adhere to the operating hours set by the government. Morning Market: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Night Market: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Bazaar: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM

    • It must be an open field enclosed by a fence.
    • It operates on a one-way system with a single entrance and exit, so U-turns are not permitted.
    • Temperature checks at the entrance, with hand sanitizer provided.
    • Maintain a social distance of 1.5 to 2 meters between street stalls.
