The information has been passed around so many times that it’s dizzying. I’ve done my best to compile it all in one place.

States Not Complying with PKPB:

Sarawak, Sabah, Penang, and Pahang (to be decided on May 8),

States partially adhering to PKPB:

Selangor, Selangor, Perak, Malacca, Kedah, Kelantan

States in full compliance with PKPB:

Perlis, Terengganu, and Johor

Selangor:

In-room dining at the restaurant is not available. Operating hours: 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Convenience stores and supermarkets are open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Gas station: Open 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

Park: Open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Travel distances of over 10 km are acceptable, but crossing state borders is not. However, from May 7 to May 10, crossing state borders is permitted.

A period has been set for people who returned to the countryside to move back to urban areas. There is also mention of the Gerak Malaysia app.

Going out after 10:00 PM is perfectly fine.

Road closures within Kuala Lumpur city have been fully lifted, with other states gradually following suit.

Train occupancy must be limited to 50% of capacity. Social distancing is required.

    • Starting May 4, up to four people are allowed to travel in a single car, provided they are family members living in the same household.
    • Starting May 4, POS Malaysia (post offices) will resume operations and will also handle JPJ services. All branches, including those located in shopping malls, will be open. For more details, please visit https://www.pos.com.my/.
    • Starting May 6, designated KWSP (Employees Provident Fund) branches will reopen, but they appear to be handling only limited services, such as activating i-Akuan. Please check www.kwsp.gov.my for more details.
    • TNB (the electricity provider) is closed.
    • McDonald’s and KFC are not yet available for dining within the building. Updated regularly.

You may attend funerals, provided the number of attendees does not exceed 20.

Taxis and Grab rides are limited to a maximum of two passengers.
