[Operating hours for Sultan Iskandar Building (CIQ) changed to 7am–7pm starting April 24]

The Sultan Iskandar Building (CIQ), the checkpoint in Johor, will change its operating hours from the original 24-hour schedule to 7 AM to 7 PM starting April 24. This affects all cars and trucks. The Sultan Abu Bakar Complex CIQ will continue to operate 24 hours as usual.

Therefore, if you’re in a hurry to travel from Singapore to Malaysia, it’s best to use the CIQ Sultan Abu Bakar (CIQ Second Link) checkpoint.

Updates to follow.

Let’s stay calm and tackle the COVID-19 challenge together. In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced a “Movement Control Order” (MCO) from March 18 to March 31, effective as of 10:00 PM on March 16 (11:00 PM Japan Time). In simple terms, this means prohibiting foreigners from entering the country and restricting Malaysian citizens from leaving.
