Malaysia continues to live under a strict movement control order.
The Movement Control Order (MCO), which began on March 18, is now on its 24th day. As a housewife living in Malaysia, I’m struggling to find the ingredients I want to buy, and I’m at a loss for what to cook every day while stuck at home. Although the uncertainty ahead brings a lot of anxiety, let’s do our best to stay home to protect the lives of our precious family, friends, and everyone around us!
I’ll continue to update this.
Let’s stay calm and fight COVID-19 together. In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced a “Movement Control Order” from March 18 to March 31, effective from 10:00 PM on March 16 (11:00 PM Japan time). In short, this means prohibiting foreigners from entering the country and preventing Malaysian citizens from leaving the country.
