[Pandemic] 4 [Deploying the military from Sunday]

Let’s stay calm and fight COVID-19 together. In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced a “Movement Control Order” (MCO) from March 18 to March 31, effective from 10:00 PM on March 16 (11:00 PM Japan time). In short, this means prohibiting foreigners from entering the country and restricting Malaysian citizens from leaving.

The following information is from March 20, 2020 (Friday) at 12:29 PM.

[Deploying the military starting Sunday]

The government deployed the military and began supporting the police to ensure people complied with the Movement Control Order starting on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
