[Partial road blockades and closures on Damansara roads from April 10]

Starting April 10, additional roadblocks will be set up in the Damansara area, with a total of five road closures implemented.

■ Locations with blockages:

Currently, there are two blocking points:

  1. 0.3 km from the Damansara Toll Plaza on the SPRINT Expressway.

  2. Condominiums near Persiaran Surian (2 directions) Another location to add an extra blocking point:

  3. Jalan PJU 7/1 Mutiara Damansara (Near Mutiara Damansara MRT Station, 2 directions) ■ From April 10, the following roads will be closed:

Exit (turn-off) from Penchala Link to Mutiara Damansara and Damansara Perdana

Roads from the LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong) to Mutiara Damansara and Damansara Perdana

  1. The road from LDP to Jalan PJU 8/8 Flora Damansara

  2. The road from IKEA to Petaling, Jalan PJU 7/8

■ How do I get to Damansara?

Via 1 Jalan PJU 7/9 Mutiara Damansara (BHP Petrol Station), from Damansara Perdana to Penchala Link

Via 2 Jalan PJU 7/1, Mutiara Damansara, from Damansara Perdana to Persiaran Surian

Ambulances, fire trucks, local government vehicles, and police vehicles are permitted to use all the aforementioned roads. The police station has stated that the aforementioned closed sections and newly added road closures are intended to enforce social distancing in compliance with the Movement Control Order (MCO) and to prevent the spread of coronavirus infections.

In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced a “Movement Control Order” from March 18 to March 31, effective from 10:00 PM on March 16 (11:00 PM Japan Time). In short, this order prohibits foreigners from entering the country and prevents Malaysian citizens from leaving.
