To alleviate the financial burden on citizens amid coronavirus countermeasures, the Prime Minister of Malaysia has announced a discount on electricity bills in Peninsular Malaysia.

Discount period is scheduled from April to June:

50% OFF: Monthly usage under 200 kWh

25% OFF: Monthly usage between 201 kWh and 300 kWh

15% OFF: Monthly usage between 301 kWh and 600 kWh

2% OFF: When monthly usage exceeds 601 kWh

Details will be released pending an official announcement from TNB, the national electricity provider.

Which of these horse-related categories do you fall into? The 2% OFF part is definitely eye-catching.

Let’s stay calm and fight COVID-19 together. In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced a “Movement Control Order” from March 18 to March 31, effective from 10 PM on March 16 (11 PM Japan time). In short, this means prohibiting entry for people from outside the country (foreign nationals) and preventing people inside the country (Malaysian citizens) from leaving (departing abroad).
