In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced a “Movement Control Order” (MCO) from March 18 to March 31, effective as of 10:00 PM on March 16 (11:00 PM Japan Time). In short, this order prohibits foreigners from entering the country and prevents Malaysian citizens from leaving the country.
