There was a speech from the Prime Minister yesterday. Although there were policies announced, such as allowing citizens to withdraw a portion of their pension, he didn’t mention anything about the price of masks, even when questioned by reporters during the press conference.
“The wholesale price for a box of 50 masks is RM75, and the retail price is RM100.” That’s actually cheaper in Japan! But the Malaysian Mask Association is opposing price cuts…! That said, please tell me where I can buy masks in Malaysia!!!
I will continue to update.
Let’s stay calm and tackle the COVID-19 crisis together. In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced an “Movement Control Order” (MCO) from March 18 to March 31, effective as of 10:00 PM on March 16 (Malaysia Time), which corresponds to 11:00 PM Japan Time. In short, this order prohibits entry into the country for foreigners while simultaneously restricting Malaysian citizens from leaving the country.
