Inspiros International School is one of the Malaysia International Schools, located in the Puchong area, about 40 minutes southwest of central Kuala Lumpur. The school is situated among a row of shop lots—small commercial units that are common in Malaysia. Several condominiums are nearby, making it possible for students to walk to school. As the school keeps tuition fees affordable, the campus is not very large.

Uniforms and Costumes
This room stores the uniforms and costumes. Since there is an annual concert every year, the costumes for the event are also kept here.
At my son’s kindergarten, they also have a yearly concert with dance and drama performances held together with the graduation ceremony. So, the annual concert is an important event that schools put a lot of effort into.

＜Pork Butcher＞
The pork butcher is located on the ground floor of the building that houses the kindergarten and primary school. Since Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim country, places where pork can be purchased are limited, so having one close to the school is very convenient.
At first, it was quite shocking, but Malaysian pork butchers often sell whole cuts like pig’s trotters as they are, clearly showing which part they come from.
They also sell frozen dumplings.
＜Grocery Store＞
Right next to the pork butcher, there is also a grocery store. It’s quite spacious, and they even sell ingredients like yam and burdock root, so they have a good variety of food items. The local grocery store near my home doesn’t carry yam or burdock root, so it’s a bit difficult to find them there.
