Element Kuala Lumpur(エレメントクアラルンプール)in KLCC
Ultra-high-rise condominium-style hotel with a dishwasher and water purification system in the KLCC area
Hello!
I’m Aya, a Japanese wife in Malaysia, buzzing with excitement as Chinese New Year approaches!
Today, I’m introducing a high-rise condominium-style hotel located in the KLCC area of Kuala Lumpur. This brand-new hotel opened in May 2017, with office spaces on the lower floors and hotel guest rooms starting from the 41st floor up.
My top recommendation here is the pool on the 39th floor! While most pools in Malaysia are outdoor and unheated, this one features an indoor heated pool. It might be slightly cooler than the heated pools you’re used to in Japan, but it’s my first time experiencing an indoor pool during my travels through Malaysian hotels. At night, you can soak in the water while enjoying the stunning night view of KLCC—it’s truly luxurious.

The spacious poolside is filled with a variety of seating options, allowing you to relax and unwind comfortably even from indoors. While the pools at most condominium-style hotels typically close at 10 PM, you can enjoy this one until 11 PM—perhaps because it’s indoors?

Check-in at the Sky Lobby on the 40th floor! The high ceilings and expansive views create an incredible sense of openness!

Here is the 3LDK-type guest room, featuring a spacious living and dining area with panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur city.

The kitchen comes with a dishwasher and a faucet equipped with a water purification system! A water purifier from a well-known brand is installed. Just like in Japan, you can drink tap water straight from the faucet!!! This is the first time I’ve seen this in a condominium-style hotel in Malaysia that I’ve visited so far! As a Japanese wife, I’m absolutely thrilled!!! I couldn’t help but exclaim, “New!” So, there are no plastic water bottles in the room!

A huge king-sized bed!!

On the Sunday morning I stayed, they were holding a yoga session, so I did some Sky Yoga before breakfast and started the day feeling absolutely refreshed. The foreign instructor was incredibly helpful and patient. (Guests can join yoga sessions for free.) The pool, gym, laundry room, and yoga room are all located on the same 39th floor. The spa is also under construction and is expected to open soon.

Stylish open kitchen! Enjoy drinks at the bar counter in the evening.

The menu is diverse and delicious, and since we’d just finished yoga, I found myself devouring the food (lol). They even have honey harvested directly from real beehives—be sure to try it!

Element Kuala Lumpur (KLCC) is a condominium-style hotel, but it doesn’t extend all the way to the top of the skyscraper. This is the hotel’s signboard.

Surrounding Information
It’s close to LRT Ampang Park Station (just a 2-3 minute walk).
It’s about an 8-minute walk to KLCC.

- About a 7- to 8-minute walk from Element Kuala Lumpur, you’ll find TAPAK, a vibrant hawker center that comes alive in the evening! It’s a really interesting spot, so I highly recommend checking it out. I suggest walking there from Element Kuala Lumpur. Once the sun goes down, it gets crowded, and the area around the parking lot can get heavily congested with traffic.
