My comment:

Do you know about Kampung Baru? In Malay, Kampung means “village,” and Baru means “new.” This is a Malay community where you can enjoy a variety of traditional Malay dishes, such as satay, grilled fish, rojak, nasi lemak, and kuih-muih (traditional desserts).

Right next to the Tamu Hotel & Suites—a Muslim-friendly hotel—you’ll find food stalls. The stalls typically open around 6:00 PM, but please note that during Ramadan (as of May 2019), operating hours may change. During this holy month, fasting usually ends around 7:30 PM. After that, Muslims gather for Buka Puasa, the evening meal to break the fast.

Around the Tamu Hotel & Suites, you’ll also find stalls similar to those in a wet market, which connect to the Chow Kit Wet Market. Be sure to explore more when you visit!

Kampung Baru Night Market
