After Hari Raya, filming of dramas, documentaries, and commercials is permitted, provided that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed.

Film and theater professionals are expected to resume work in late June.

For example, artists and staff must not be provided with buffet-style meals (takeaway is permitted). Makeup artists and stylists are required to wear face shields. Artists are not permitted to have close contact and must maintain a social distance of at least one meter. However, using lenses to create the illusion of proximity is allowed. The artist’s itinerary for the past four weeks must be tracked and recorded. The filming crew, including staff and artists, cannot exceed 20 people. Artist recruitment is permitted online only.

For live performances, consider factors such as the number of attendees and the venue. Art and cultural activities that involve large-scale performances or theater are still prohibited.
