[Hospitals Accepting COVID-19 Patients]

The Ministry of Health has categorized hospitals accepting COVID-19 patients into two groups.

Screening hospitals (hospitals that conduct medical examinations) and admitting hospitals (hospitals that treat inpatients).

According to a Facebook post by Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, the head of the Ministry of Health, designated hospitals for admission are equipped with appropriate isolation facilities to treat coronavirus (COVID-19) patients and are staffed by specially trained medical personnel.

I will continue to update.

Let’s stay calm and fight COVID-19 together. In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus, Malaysia announced a “Movement Control Order” (MCO) from March 18 to March 31, effective from 10 PM on March 16 (11 PM Japan time). In short, this means prohibiting outsiders (foreign nationals) from entering the country and restricting insiders (Malaysian citizens) from leaving.
