Ah Her Bah Kut Teh in Klang [Eat Nico]

Delicious Bak Kut Teh in Klang

Hello. I’m Ayako, a Japanese wife living in Malaysia. I recently visited a delicious Bah Kut Teh restaurant in Klang and wanted to share it with you. While Klang has countless Bah Kut Teh spots, Ah Her Bah Kut Teh stands out with its rich, flavorful broth infused with herbal medicine and garlic.

What’s unique is their serving style: everything is served in small individual bowls, with one cup per person. It’s a concept that feels somewhat reminiscent of Japanese dining styles.

In most Malaysian Chinese restaurants, Bah Kut Teh is typically served in large communal pots, so this individual portion style felt fresh and distinctive.

A plate of braised pork knuckle in dark gravy alongside stir-fried lettuce with garlic and a bowl of meat soup.

A small pot (single serving) is RM11, a plate of vegetables is RM10, and rice (large or small portion) is RM1.

A bowl of rich brown bone soup with tender meat and broth, served in a white dish.

It was slow-cooked to perfection, with the flavors deeply infused and the meat incredibly tender and delicious. Definitely a repeat order! (#^.^#)

The braised pork intestines are delicious too~ (≧▽≦) But they haven’t cleaned out the insides of the intestines (lol). While eating pork intestines is quite common in Malaysia, I’ve never seen them cleaned out like that before…

Klang is a historic commercial hub located near Port Klang, brimming with delicious hawker stalls and shops. It’s a place that still offers plenty of exciting discoveries for you to explore!
